You've found the cyberspace gathering place of Green Turtle Bay Pier 4 sailors. Suggestions and submissions always welcome.

Pier 4 News and Events moving to the CYC Online Community

Please join the CYC online community. I am moving most of the information for our dock to the Pier 4 page on the CYC online community. This online site (like Facebook) is just for GTB and members of the CYC. This way the information will be available only to members of the community. Also, all of us will be able to post information, pictures, suggestions, and send messages out to everyone registered on Pier 4. You won't have to wait weeks, months, even years for me to get around to posting it on the web or sending out a mass email.

I'm setting up a pictures page, a discussion group where we can post recipes, and our dock list. And anything else we think we need.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CYC TO JOIN THE PIER 4 COMMUNITY PAGE. If you are not already registered, just email me and I will send you the invitation you need to join. Or wander down to the Ellen Ann and I will help you get registered.It's easy to do. I usually have my computer with me and it will just take a few minutes. Right now, the Pier 4 community has more members than any other group - let's keep it that way.

No invitation required: If you see a gathering along Pier 4 any given Friday or Saturday evening, it means Happy Hour is in full swing. Bring your drinks, bring your chairs, and, if you have something to share, bring an appetizer. Having a laugh and sharing good conversation is mandatory.

CELEBRATE - IT'S SPRING AGAIN - ALMOST

HAPPY HOUR ON PIER 4. Celebrate Spring 2011 and the beginning of sailing season with your dockmates on April 9th. Bring your chairs, bring your drinks, and bring an appetizer to share. Starting at 4:30 p.m.

CYC EVENTS We have a Pier 4 table reserved for most CYC events. If you plan to join your dockmates at the table, email Vickie at least five days prior to the event or stop by the Ellen Ann (slip 52) and let me know so I can include you in the head count.
