Papyrus Creations

Papyrus Creations came into existence because boat owner and sailor Vickie Frost wanted a guest log on her Benenteau 381, but not just any guest log. Several years ago she and her husband spent a weekend on a friend's boat and he asked her to write the captain's log. He explained that he asked guests to write the log because then he could remember their stay and enjoyed going back and reading the entries. After she and her husband bought the Ellen Ann, Vickie knew she wanted a similar book but one which would also display guest pictures. After not being able to find what she wanted, Vickie enlisted the aid of business associate and friend Rebecca Korando. Together they came up with their now popular Ship's Guest Log. At boat shows and in marinas, people started asking Vickie and Rebecca about creating personlized captain's logs and other manuals. They listened and soon added their unique customized captain's logs to their product line. The whimsical a sailor's life for me t-shirt line came about as a tribute to life onboard - their way of capturing the moments, celebrating the life.
